Full Circle, the current Atjazz album, has been receiving ‘maja props’ from his peers, and fans old & new. Underlined is one of the most popular tracks on the specialist digital stores, and now it’s set to reach higher with these remixes for this third single release from the album.First to the studio were Madrid’s hottest house producers Wagon Cookin’. Their resulting remix pushes all the peaktime buttons, and should find a place ‘in the box’ for a wide range of disc selectors. The dub will appeal to all you fans of the Mantis Recordings back catalogue with that deep squelch and bounce.
Robert came to the Mantis studio for a couple of days, to initially work on a track for Robert’s forthcoming album for Compost Records. This went so well that they decided to write a second song for the Atjazz album. You’ll have to wait to hear the song they wrote for Robert’s album (it’s great), but here is the resulting track for Full Circle, the fantastic Love Someone.
Put It On is the first single from his forthcoming album Full Circle and a fantastic homecoming it is. Teaming up with prolific Swedish vocalist Ernesto (Swell Sessions, Beanfield, Stateless, Tantan, Pinku Vääty), Atjazz has found a perfect voice for the development of his sound since his last album Labfunk.
The vinyl sampler for the ‘Lab Results’ remix album. Two (then) unreleased Atjazz tracks and remixes from Brooks and Dixon (Innervisions). A killer collection of underground grooves.
This one’s for the off kilter house music fan. It includes the fabulous Chateau Flight Darkside mix. A take from Lesbonics 101 (Atjazz & Brooks), and on the flip two mixes from electrosoul funkstress Uschi Classen.
Another popular cut from the Atjazz album ‘Labfunk’; the first of two 12″s of mixes. Part 1 includes the original, a fantastic deep glitchy jazz-tech interpretation from Phil Parnell, and a sweet summer stepper from Mark Rae (Rae & Christian)
Out Now A great package. Not only the amazing original album cut, but mixes from King Britt, dZihan & Kamien & Tom and Joyce. All vastly different, all totally great.
Release Date. Out Now One of the most popular Atjazz tracks of all time. This one put him on the map. Mixes come from Japans Little Big Bee and Sheffield dons Swag.
This promo featured an exclusive track from Atjazz and Kimbu Kimra called ‘Illumination’.
The first time Atjazz did house music for Mantis, and still sounding fresh. A classic deep house cut, the flipside sees Charles Webster, in his then ‘Presence’ guise give it the ultradeep treatment. Bonus track ‘Pressure’ helped define the Atjazz sound and is one not to miss.
Deep broken downbeat soul. The first ever Atjazz release, still sounding sharp in todays climate.
